SATURDAY, AUG. 5

The August House Party for student in grades 7-12 is 6 pm – midnight at the Launch Student Center.  House Parties are the first Saturday of every month.

SUNDAY, AUG. 6
This Sunday will be the last sermon in our current series “Giant Slayers”.  In our final message we will share about how important it is to finish well.  Caleb was 85 years old when he finally had opportunity to face the giants that others feared those many years before.  You will learn you are never too old and it’s never too late to overcome.  You will not want to miss this one!  We will also be serving communion during the service.

SUNDAY, AUG. 6
Celebrate Recovery is hosting special night with Nashville Recording Artist, George Tifft. Come at 6pm to hear his music and testimony. Free admission and childcare provided. Come early at 5:30 pm for dinner.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 9
Students in grades 7-12 are invited to watch “The Shack” at 6:30 pm at LAUNCH. The following week, there will be a discussion about the movie with the students.

FRIDAY, AUG. 11

Cleanup at the Houston High School football stadium immediately following the game. Gloves and trash bags provided.

SUNDAY, AUG. 20

The sixth annual Prayer Zone Challenge is 7 p.m. inside Hiett Gymnasium. The 2017 #PrayerZoneChallenge t-shirts are available for $10 apiece. Place your order at the NFO table, deadline to order is August 9.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 23
LAUNCH’s Back-to School event – Color Wars – is 6-8 p.m. This night of food, fun and bright colors is for students entering grades 7-12. Wear old clothes and bring towels.

FRIDAY, AUG. 25

Cleanup at the Houston High School football stadium immediately following the game. Gloves and trash bags provided.

SUNDAY, AUG. 27
The draft for the church’s annual fantasy football league begins at 2 p.m. inside the Launch Student Center. Both men and women of all ages are extended the opportunity to beat Pastor Bill for church bragging rights.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 30
The SuperKids’ Back-to-School Splash is 6-8 p.m. at the Licking Aquatic Center.  A bus will leave from the church at 5:30 p.m. for those who wish to ride. The Dixon’s cook shack will be there to provide food and drinks for the kids. There is no cost to those who attend. All children younger than kindergarten age must be accompanied by an adult.
