Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the Beatitudes. The purpose of CR is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the twelve steps and eight recovery principles.
By applying these principles, we experience freedom from our hurts, habits and hang-ups, creating peace, serenity, joy and a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to share your struggles; a place where we can take off our masks. A place where you hear the words: “Nobody walks alone.”
In a word, everyone. We all have “hurts, hangups and habits.” Among them are are high anxiety; co-dependency; compulsive behaviors; sex addiction; financial dysfunction; drug and alcohol addictions; and eating disorders.
Celebration Place is the approved children’s curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries for children ages 5-13. These Christ-centered teaching mirror the lessons taught in the adult large groups. We strive to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families. Children will experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to love themselves and others. They grow in their own relationship with God. They also learn healthy coping skills for life’s tough issues.
The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry geared toward junior high and high school students. The curriculum mirrors the material of the adult CR teachings, only packaged for students. The Landing exists to provide a safe place for our students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, provide tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives and point them towards the freedom found in Jesus Christ.
Every Sunday evening downstairs in the main building on church campus. Large group sessions, featuring worship and a lesson as part of the 12-step recovery program, begin at 6 p.m.
No. Come with a friend or by yourself. Everyone is welcome here. We don’t need to know you are coming. We just want to see you here!
